Want to voice your opinion and help shape Copperworks policies?

Well you can!

We are currently looking to set up a focus group to discuss peoples opinions on our allocations policy.

We are looking for tenants, current applicants, and especially folk who have been re-housed in the past 12 months to come along and discuss their opinions on our policy and how we apply this to our allocations procedures.

We will then contact you when we have a few interested bodies. Please respond by Friday January 22nd 2016.

We will be placing skips around our properties to allow our tenants and owners to have a post Christmas tidy up.

We will be placing them in the following areas and on the following dates;

287-291 Roystonhill (common path) - 30th December

270- 276 Royston Rd (parking bays) - 6th January

Bottom of the path at 23 Tharsis Street - 6th January

46 Gadshill Street - pavement area - 6th January

Hollybank Development - Factoring Update

For many years now, Copperworks has factored the 'Hollybank' development, comprising 86 properties, 56 of which are privately owned with the remaining 30 belonging to the Association.

Due to fairly recent changes in legislation, we felt the time was right to seek to be formally appointed as factor of the development as opposed to operating bsed on custom and practice. Whilst custom and practice is a legally recognised means of factoring, we felt it would be beneficial to make things formal. With this in mind, the Association called a meeting on the 8th October 2015 and invited all owner occupiers to attend and vote on whether they wished to appoint Copperworks as a factor for the development. Each of the 86 households carried one vote and a simple majority of 44 'yes' votes was required by the Association. We are delighted to report the following result.

No: 14 
Abstentions:  17
Spoilt paper: 1

 Following the meeting, all owners were notified of the outcome and issued with a final Written Statement of Services.
