In partnership with other members of the Royston Strategy Group, Copperworks HA have the opportunity of accessing Scottish Land Fund money to buy the areas of currently unused and neglected ground next to Roystonhill, Rosemount and Millburn Street, and the old tennis court site opposite the Millburn Centre.

This would enable the joint development of the land for community benefit. We would be grateful if you could complete a short survey to support this project and your preferences for the re-use of the space.

The  survey form is available here in our downloads section or in the office, or if you prefer give us a phone at the office and we will complete the form with your opinions and submit on your behalf.

Your opinion is valued, so please take part in the survey.

Copperworks HA has been made aware of an unknown person(s) using a Standing Order Mandate purporting to be from this organisation and requesting payment. This is an attempt to defraud - if you receive this instruction please contact this organisation and we can confirm that it does not originate from Copperworks HA.

Its soup weather!

As part of our Healthy Working Lives application North Glasgow Community  Food Initiative are kindly sending us a healthy recipe every week.

So rather than keep it all to ourselves we are sharing it here on the website as a download (and also on Facebook and Twitter).

Karen the nutritionist has put together some lovely easy recipes, which we hope to update regularly. We hope you will enjoy trying them out, and also remember to pop in to the office on a Thursday morning to source some of your ingredients from the Fruit Barra.

This week we have a recipe for Minestrone Soup , and one for Lentil soup!

Did you know there are lots of support groups available to carers in Royston and the surrounding area?

Glasgow East End Community Carers hold a meeting once a month in

The Community Room

Why not give them a call! They provide support and training, and a chance to meet other carers.

They have different support groups - for young carers, men, parents, and for those who care for people with Dementia or Autism.
